I just can’t believe the semester is already over. At least to me, it flew by. I’m sure the students who are struggling with their algebra homework won’t agree with me!
We are going to have some pretty cool things going the last ten days of school. On Thursday, April 21, we will be celebrating Earth Day (a day early!) If you have a few extra minutes, stop down at the student center and pick-up some “earth friendly” goodies and put your name into a raffle for a free “KCC Earth Day” t-shirt.
I wish I could tell you the exact day and time of KCC’s first Student Easter Egg Hunt – but I am waiting to see what kind of weather we will be getting in the next couple of days. I will announce one way or another Wednesday evening what day and where the Easter Egg Hunt will be held. We will be hiding gas cards, Subway cards and some yummy Easter candy. So make sure you have some walking shoes – you never know where the eggs will be hidden!
Our last student activities event will be held next Monday – Wednesday (April 25-27), two of my favorite masseuses will be giving chair massages 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. We want you nice and relaxed for those finals! So please come down to the student center and do yourself a favor, sit down for 15 minutes and let someone massage the tension right out of you!
I hope you had a fun year, I know I did. I’ve met some incredible students this school year. I hope you are all back and ready to go for classes in fall.
